Cycled the length of Sri Lanka
A group of 7 women bicycled the length of Sri Lanka - 833km over 10 days. Over $21,000 AUD has been raised, being able to assist with the tuition fees for higher education for a Childrens home in Sri Lanka.

What does Hey Sister do?
Hey Sister is running two Projects in Sri Lanka.
1. We are funding the higher education of 18 young women at an orphanage
2. Individual sponsorships of young women from low income families who wish to pursue a higher education
CYCLE-BREAKING EDUCATION
1. Our 1st Project is for a cause close to our hearts: providing higher education for 18 orphaned girls aged 9 to 18 in Akuressa, Sri Lanka.In order to fundraiser, a group of 7 incredible women bicycled the length of Sri Lanka - 833km over 10 days. Over $21,000 AUD has been raised, being able to assist with the tuition fees for higher education for the girls.
We continue to work closely with the girls, providing them the resource they need in order to get a higher education.
SCHOLARSHIP
2. Hey Sister sponsors individual young women who are aiming for a higher education, but do not have the financial support. This is where Hey Sister helps with finding a individual sponsor who can help with their monthly living and educational expenses.
Quality over quantity: Eirin is still in Sri Lanka being a sister/teaching/mentor to the incredible girls we have in our community.
Hey Sister is lucky to work together with the local organisation Akuratatha, for additional hands-on educational projects in the community.
Days are filled with laughter, learning, sports, friendship & love.
